Mr. James Mahoney practices primarily in the area of real estate including the creation of real estate and related agreements. The other half of his time is devoted to litigation and dispute resolution, including disputes relating to contract, real estate, and corporate matters. He is a member of the Maritime Law Association and practices maritime law.
James also acts as a mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court and as a private mediator in commercial matters. He is admitted to practice in California and is a resident of our Los Angeles office.

JENNIFER ZOOK
Jennifer is a native South Bay resident and has been in the real estate industry for the last 9 years. She started at South Bay Brokers in 2001 after graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in psychology. As the file manager for 4 years she learned the ins and outs of a real estate transaction with a special emphasis in the contracts and documents required on each sale. In 2005 Jennifer moved to San Francisco and worked in title and escrow for 3 years at Old Republic Title and LandAmerica. Missing the South Bay, Jennifer moved back in late 2008 and rejoined South Bay Brokers as the assistant to Jim Van Zanten. She combines her knowledge of residential real estate, title insurance and escrow procedures to help our clients feel comfortable and confident in their real estate decisions.
